Divine @ Glasgow Shool Of Art Every Saturday

Andrew "Divine" Symington has steered Glasgow School of Art's soul, funk, reggae and jazz extravaganza, Divine, for over 15 years - rendering it Glasgow's longest-running club night - and an exigent, one-stop institution for lovers of northern soul, 60s grooves, psych-jazz, hipster Mod and Motown" (TRIPTYCH FESTIVAL 2006)

"Officially the city's, if not Scotland's, longest running clubnight" (THE METRO)

Glasgow's DIVINE! brings you a weekly dose of the greatest in northern soul, heavyweight funk, Tamla Motown, sixties freakbeat, dynamite ska, E-Z listening and psychedelic soundtracks.
Mr. Divine scours the depths of musical roots, continually adding gems to the Divine Sound Archive, to find tracks for your listening and dancing pleasure every Saturday night in the Glasgow School of Art's Vic Bar. Over these past 17 years DIVINE! has consistently brought great music and fantastic guests to Glasgow's shores.

Recent special guests have included Cheeba Cheeba (Manchester), Twitch (Optimo Espacio), Chris Geddes & Bob Kildea (Belle and Sebastian) with previous appearances from David Holmes (13 Amp), Andy Smith (Dynamo Productions), Andy Votel (Twisted Nerve/B-Music), Andy Lewis (Acid Jazz), Stuart Braithwaite (Mogwai), Tim Gane (Stereolab) and Bob Stanley & Pete Wiggs (St. Etienne).
