I realize it's been a long time since I've given an update so I figured I'd let everybody know what's been going on for Eli "Paperboy" Reed & The True Loves and what our future plans are.

Earlier this fall we finished our album "Roll With You" and we just got the mastered copies back and they sound great! The band and I are so excited to be releasing an album of all original material; all songs were written by me with the exception of one which was True Loves guitarist Ryan Spraker's first foray into writing for the band.

The album will contain all 4 songs from both singles plus 7 more tunes including the title track. It's slated for release in March of '08 and we couldn't be more ready to have it come out. Our label is also planning to release a 2nd 45 RPM single and our plan is to include a b-side that will not be on the full-length so look out for that in January.

We've also added some new members to the team both musically and organizationally. We have a new tenor sax player in Paul Jones who so far has been a great asset to the already stellar horn section of Patriq Moody and Ben Jaffe and we've just brought a new drummer into the fold, Andy Bauer who will make his debut with us on December 6th at the Paradise in Boston.

We have a new management team, Upper 11 Management headed up by industry veteran Ric Aliberte and we're now working with Shore Fire Media for our press.

Starting early in the year we will most certainly be hitting the road so keep tuned to this page for more dates to be posted and there's no doubt that we will be back again at Austin's South by Southwest music festival in late March. For now though, check out the dates on the main myspace page, come see us if we're in your area and pick up the record when it comes out!--Eli & The True Loves
