3 P's Why You Can't be Nice To MeMy friend Weldon McDougal 111 has been in touch to tell me about his latest project. Weldon has gone back into his archives and dug out enough tracks for a CD. The CD contains music of the highest quality featuring tracks Weldon produced in Philly during the halycon days of that city's recording history in the late 60's and early 70's plus a few recent recordings. Weldon has put the project together with Andrew Demetriades and is an important addition to the musical heritage of Philly demonstrating the talent which the city has produced over the years.
Weldon has let me share the above track by the 3 P's which was unissued at the time but is a beautiful song from Paul, Paris and Phil who were backing singers in the City Of Brotherly Love.
I will feature a full track listing and more details on the CD in the next few days as well as sharing a few more snippets from the CD - an essential purchase!
