I found out this week that Rance Allen is coming over to Europe in the summer. Dr Allen is due in Dublin the weekend of May 24th to 27th. I understand that he is performing a paying gig on the Friday night and doing a free gig on the Sunday. I will post again when I have firm details.

I found out this week that Rance Allen is coming over to Europe in the summer. Dr Allen is due in Dublin the weekend of May 24th to 27th. I understand that he is performing a paying gig on the Friday night and doing a free gig on the Sunday. I will post again when I have firm details.

ReplyDeleteThe Rance Allen Group will be appearing in The Round Room at the Mansion House (Lord Mayor's residence) in Dublin on Saturday May 26th 2007 as part of the 'Dublin City Soul Festival ~ a celebration of peace, unity & love'. For anyone wishing to come see them tickets are just €40. including all booking fees and there will be support on the night from the excellent Gardiner Street Gospel Choir. Oh and after the gig we are all heading over to see the Legendary Dr. Bob Jones at a local club called Dandelion - just a couple of minutes walk from the concert venue which by the way only holds 600 so it will be a lovely intimate night with one of the greatest singers on the planet! (well I think so anyway! ;) )
There's lots of other cool stuff happening and it is a Bank Holiay in the UK so I hope you'll all come and join us for a seriously soul filled party weekend!
