I found out this week that the legendary Kush had died last Sunday. Kush was the legendary trumpeter and arranger for James Brown, Parliament/Funkadelic, and his own P-Funk spin off group, the Horny Horns, and work at Motown as the house band, "Bottom and Company". He was also an integral part of Bootsy's Rubber Band, the J.B.'s, and band leader for P-Funk spinoffs like The Brides of Funkenstein.
