Greetings once again my brethren and brether-ladies alike! We’re ready to kick off the 49th installment of Restless! Soul Nights for you! Yes, #49, and it’s just gonna get crazier as we go along!
First off, thanks everyone that came out and made the 4 year anniversary quite the crazy soul party we imagined it to be! We had so much fun – maybe a little too much, but hey, we’re still alive and ready to kick off another! We still have maybe 3-4 anniversary CD’s left in the bounty, as well as a few shirts left, so if you want them come get to us early at the DJ booth, cuz once they are gone, they are GONE!> And you don’t wanna miss out on this one twice…
Secondly, some good things must always come to an end. The Smiling Moose has added a new format for bands, and now for DJ’s. Soul Night now will be assessing a meager $3 “soul club” fee through the doors. As any of you are aware, this is hardly penance for what you get in return, and the good news for yunz on a budget, the moose will now be able to run better specials, including super cheap bottles of booze after 9pm – every dollar can be well spent !
Lastly, we’ve been amassing yet another huge load of dancing 45’s over the last 4 weeks, just for your pleasure (Ok, and ours too)! Ian’s rumored to have at least 30 more 45’s just for yunz to enjoy, and I’ve always good a few new tricks. It should be a nice, hot, new and fresh soul night with just the right sprinkle of your Restless! favorites to keep you knee jerkin’ on the dance floor. Bust out the talcum and the tonic, its spring time baby!
