Homemadesoul Volume 2 Love

Homemadesoul Volume 2: Love Snippets

I recent tip from Soul Treasures is Homemadesoul which can be picked up from CD Baby.

Here's Homemadesoul's bio:

He can sing, write, produce, play, arrange, and create music. He is music. He is the hint of funk, hip-hop, jazz, gospel, and covered in the soul wrapper. Originality is the name of the game when it comes to describing him. Since his many influences include many of the great artist, to include, Musiq Soulchild, D’angelo, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, it is possible for him to take those influence and create his own sound with those all in the mix. Homemadesoul is the one word description for original music made form the soul.

Born Curtis Clark Jr., this born and bred Philadelphian was introduced to music at the early age of 5. He comes from a family full of musicians and singers. Growing up in the church laid the groundwork for this soul artist, enabling him to feel at home with the mic and the piano.

In 2001, after enlisting into the Air Force, Homemadesoul began to explore his desire to write and produce. Over the period of 6 years, he worked hard on his craft as a musician/singer, and this hard work resulted in the release of his first LP entitled, “Homemadesoul VOL. 1.” This collection of songs introduced to the world what Homemadesoul was all about.

His vocal ability has opened doors for him to open for national recording artist such as, The Original Bluenotes, THE PHYLLIES INTRUDERS, and Bradford Marsalis. He has also performed all over the U.S. and overseas to include Japan, Oman, Iraq, and Kuwait. In addition, his production has enabled him to be asked for by many independent artists to include 3TEN, Mixture, gospel recording artist Scripture, the UK’s DNYCE, and Precise. He has also created recordings for TM Century and their radio broadcast affiliates. In Oct 2006 Homemadesoul appeared on the independent movie, “Steel Here” soundtrack with his ballad, “It’s So Beautiful.” The soundtrack included national recording artist Court Dog, and Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs in Harmony.

Currently, Homemadesoul has just released his second project entitled “Homemadesoul Vol. 2: LOVE”, and has joined forces with Hit House Entertainment, who boasts a roster featuring, THE PHYLLIES INTRUDERS, Totally Committed, Darlette Gayle, D-EEASY, and more. You can check his website to see upcoming events, and video of live performances and you can always expect Homemadesoul to keep it homemade!!!!
