Open Decks @ Orwell 27/7/07

On The Real Side @ The Orwell has established itself over the last few years as one of the friendliest soul nights in the country featuring the very best in Crossover, Quality 70's and little label soul. The regular DJs Steve Plumb, Steve Connor, Baz Maleady and Flanny have been the backbone of the club's success with a regular influx of quality guests who have only added to the mix.
Last Friday, the "Orwell Collective" of DJs stood down to allow an open decks night to take place with volunteers consisting of regular Orwell punters and other DJs to get up and play the music for one special night. What transpired was an excellent night of sounds which had a real buzz!
