I stumbled on the above photo of the studios used by the Big Mack label in the 60's and 70's. This gives me the oportunity to mention the collection by Numero Group in their Eccentric Soul series and say go out and get it. The other titles in the series are equally good; 001 Cap Soul, 003 Bandit, 007 Deep City and 011 Mighty Mike Lenaburg.
I also found out this week that they have issued a 2 CD collection on the Chicago Twinight label called "Lunar Rotation" which I am waiting to arrive so more later.
