I have been very busy over the last couple of weeks and I am still catching up with all the news that has come in.One bulletin which arrived has provided me with some updated news on Bobby Parker even though I missed promoting the concert:

BENEFIT FOR BOBBY PARKER AT THE SURF CLUB LIVE, SUNDAY MAY 11
Terence McArdle is organizing a benefit for Bobby. Legendary blues singer and guitarist Bobby Parker has been hospitalized and needs your help with medical expenses. The DC Blues Society is sponsoring a Benefit Fundraiser on Sunday, May 11, 2008, from 4 pm - 9 pm at the Surf Club Live, 4711 Bladensburg, MD with The Nighthawks, Memphis Gold and Terence McArdleand Jumpin' Tonight, the Mary Shaver Band, & Robert Lighthouse.
If he can Bobby hopes to make an appearance!
