Earnest Jackson Reaching Out For Your Love Royal ShieldI've posted this 45 as part of the continuing A To Z of my 45 collection picked out at random.
This is on the same label as some good 45s by George Perkins and is out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and was recorded in 1982 at the River City Recorders studio. Earnest Jackson did a few other 45s on Stone Records in the 70's.
This 45 probably turned up in the UK via Soul Bowl and I am sure it was given a few spins in the more progressive venues in the early 80's.
