In The Basement 46

Yet another bumper packed 75 page edition of the ever excellent In The Basement.

This time up in-depth features based on full interviews with Phill Hurtt, Dobie Gray, Dicky Williams but perhaps the most signiicant freatures are with 2 elusive ladies - Tommye Young-West and Clydie King.

Clydie has been suffering from ill-health in recent years but gave a full account of her life and Tommye had turned her back on secular music but was prepared to talk of her past life in soul music.

The magazine also contains all the usual feature such as reviews, gig reports plus a vinyl spotlight by my old friends Hans Diepstraten and Harry van Vliet as well as a rare 45 feature by Steve Guarnori.

Order a copy direct from the editor Dave Cole - on UK No 01273 601217 or mail him itb@basement-group.co.uk
