Alain Resnais Portrait Musical

I love films and I love music in films. Here we have one of my favourite French directors and music from his films:

A musical portrait of the works of filmmaker Alain Resnais -- featuring themes and more from 5 decades of French Cinema -- with material by Giovanni Fusco, Francis Seyrig, Hands Werner Henze, Krzysztof Penderecki, John Pattison, Miklos Rosza, Bruno Fontaine, Mark Snow and others! The music here is richly dramatic storytelling in its own right, from low key jazz to soft symphonic beauty, to filmic grand atmosphere -- really wonderful stuff that sounds timeless from beginning to end! Includes "Hiroshima, Mon Amor (Suite)" by Giovanni Fusco and "Valse Du Cafe Du Fleuve" by George Delerue from Hiroshima, Mon Amor (1959), "Valse De Marienbad" by Francis Seyrig from L'Annee Derniere A Marienbad (1961), "Marianne" by Giovanni Fusco from La Guerre Est Finie Giovanni Fusco, "Je T'Aime, Je T'aime" by Krzysztof Penderecki from Je T'Aime, Je T'aime (1968), "Providence (Suite)" by Miklos Rosza from Providence (1977), "Valse Et Marche Medusees" by Bruno Fontaine from On Connait La Chanson (1997) and more!
