Allen O Sit Down On It

I mentioned in the post on Monique Ford that her label Laryan had also issued an album by former Seventh Wonder member Allen O.

You can find a copy at CD Baby:

Allen O started singing at an early age with his family and church choirs. In high school he sang with the high school group that led opening acts for Joe Simon, Bobby Moore and Rhythm Aces and Chuck Jackson.

After high school he attended college and majored in Voice. After his accomplishments in college he attended the Army and joined the Army Band. Allen O led the Army band for openings for Lou Rawles and Bo Diddley.

After the military he was one of the founders of a recording group called the 7th Wonder Band. There he had many opportunities to open for acts such as Johnnie Taylor, Millie Jackson, Tyrone Davis, Denise LaSalle and host of other recording acts.

Also, as a member of the 7th Wonder Band, he appeared on Soul Train.
