Had a message from the guys:
It's a busy time for Reverend Cleatus & The Soul Saviours (aka The Fantastics!) in the run up to Christmas 2007. We have some great gigs, another BBC radio live session and new 2 'fantastic' new releases too...phew:
LIVE @ The Soul Cellar, Southampton Saturday 10th November:
As we continue to promote our recently released album (2Lbs of Funk - Soul Cookers Records) Reverend Cleatus returns to Southampton's Soul Cellar - one of our regular live haunts - the crowds are always up for it - and so are we!!

LIVE on The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show - Saturday November 24th
Yep - The Rev's Hammondeer Greg Boraman returns to his old stamping ground and on air playmate Craig Charles at BBC 6 Music - providing hip Hammond sweetness to the digital radio airwaves - but this time returning to play LIVE organ funk - instead of just his old, scratchy records! You can listen Live via UK DAB digital radio, around the world live via the website - and enjoy the whole darn thing again via the BBC Radio Player - up to 7 days after broadcast...gawd bless the good old Beeb!

December Thursday the 13th/Friday the 14th December - LIVE @ The Jazz Cafe
We are VERY proud (and mildly terrified) to be announcing that we are supporting the LEGENDS - 'The Masters Of Groove' at London's Jazz Cafe on both nights. We expect to take the stage around 8.30 pm to warm the crowd up for the these heroes of soul-jazz music:
'The Masters Of Groove'
Reuben Wilson - Hammond Organ
Bernard 'Pretty' Purdie - Drums
Grant Green Jnr - guitar

Finally - As many of you will know - Reverend Cleatus often moonlight as 'The Fantastics' - we have previously released the amazing 'Cheeba's Couch' 45 on Raw Wax Records earlier this year - well here is a couple of 'fantastic' follow ups!!:
'Modern Funk' Compilation - Freestyle RecordsThe Reverends alter ego - The Fantastics and their version of James Brown's 'Give It Up Or Turn It A Loose' features on this Freestyle Records compilation alongside tracks from Mark Ronson, The Bamboos, Lack Of Afro and The Snugs.
It should be out on November 19th 2007.
For those who prefer the vinyl groove - Freestyle Records are releasing 'Give It Up Or Turn It A Loose' as one side of a 45 single - with Speedometers version of 'Answer To Mother Popcorn' on the other. Nice!
Release date to be confirmed!
