Willie Hoskins is best known on the soul scene for his work in the 60's and 70's in the Bay Area with acts such Natural 4, Jesse James etc.I recently discovered that he had written a book which I obtained via Amazon and which was delivered this AM. Therefore, I haven't had chance to read it yet but a quick glance through has shown me that recent disparaging comments that I had read about the book are not called for because it seems like a good read about a person dedicated to music.
The book is not dissimilar in approach to Ted Jarrett's book and should be welcomed for providing more insight into the music we love.
